The Alachua County Branch of the NAACP is recruiting motivated and talented high school students of African-American and LatinX decent to compete in the local ACT-SO competition.

Various States, including Florida, have established voting obstacles designed to discourage the disenfranchised. However, here is what we can do to fight again it:

• Register to vote
• Educate yourself on the issues
• Educate yourself on the candidates
• Exercise your right to vote

By following these steps, we do a service to our community on how policies will shape it.
